Wine in a Can? Wine Not?

Boujee!

Wine in a can has had a recent rise in popularity with the UK’s canned wine market increasing by over 125% since 2017. Recent canned wines are genuinely superb, and not just easy for swigging in the sunshine on picnics, taking on trains or drinking at festivals, but handy for customers who just want one glass rather than opening an entire bottle. Cans are also better for the environment! They weigh less and tend to be recycled more than glass. They are also a safer alternative to glass, which is often prohibited in public spaces. A fun, more sustainable alternative to bottles, canned wine is now reaching an entirely different demographic: Millennials. Wine is no longer intimidating in this form, let’s make it more accessible and fun to get the new generations into this fantastic drink.
