Perfectly Portioned in every way.

In recent years, the world of wine has witnessed a significant transformation with the introduction of a modern innovation – canned wine. Breaking away from the traditional glass bottle, canned wine has emerged as a convenient, portable, and eco-friendly alternative, catering to the ever-evolving preferences of today’s wine enthusiasts. Among the pioneers of this revolution stands the renowned “Canned Wine Co.,” an industry trailblazer that has spearheaded the movement towards canned wine. Founded by passionate wine enthusiasts with a vision for redefining wine consumption, Canned Wine Co. came into existence with the idea of making wine more accessible to a wider audience as well as making it as sustainable as possible. The concept of canned wine itself isn’t entirely new, as early experiments with this packaging began decades ago. However, it’s only in recent times that the market has seen an exponential growth in its popularity. The Canned Wine Co. took this niche idea and transformed it into a mainstream phenomenon.

At the core of Canned Wine Co.’s success lies a dedication to producing high-quality wines crafted with utmost care. This means working with some of Europe’s finest winemakers; enter the likes of Michel Huber, Norrel Robertson MW, Thierry Boudinaud, Laurent Miquel, Walter Glatzer and Javier Sanz. They know what they’re doing and make fantastic wines. Their selection process for grapes and the winemaking methods remain true to traditional practices, ensuring that the canned wines maintain the same standard as their bottled counterparts. By choosing the finest vineyards and working with experienced winemakers, they have gained recognition for its commitment to delivering exceptional taste and consistency. The company also places sustainability as a top priority. Canned wine offers significant environmental advantages over glass bottles, including reduced carbon emissions and energy consumption during transportation. Cans are also more easily recyclable, contributing to the eco-friendly ethos of the Canned Wine Co.

Simon and Lisa Rollings were inspired to launch Canned Wine Co. in the spring of 2019. The pair are passionate about great food and drink, but you don’t always want to open a whole bottle of wine with dinner. A smaller amount of something great always appealed more than a lot of something average. After attending a festival in the summer later that year, Simon and Lisa found lots of average wines were being poured from heavy glass bottles into single use plastic cups, and they decided enough was enough. There had to be a better way. Less wastage. More choice in smaller volume. Better quality cans.

As the canned wine revolution continues to thrive, we can expect to see even more exciting developments from Canned Wine Co. and other like-minded pioneers in the industry, further shaping the future of wine for generations to come. So, the next time you’re looking to enjoy a glass of wine under the stars, consider reaching for a can of Canned Wine Co. and savor the taste of modern convenience blended with timeless tradition.
